Standard nominal footprints are 10 x 12, 10 x 16, 12 x 18, 10 x 20, 12 x 24, 10 x 30, 20 x 40, 10 x 40, 14 x 30 and 10 x 60 feet. Custom sizes are available. Confirm clear interior dimensions, height, wall construction and equipment clearances during engineering.

Yes. Podtronix can configure custom room dimensions and connected zones around your equipment, workflow and available building space. Share your floor plan and equipment schedule when requesting a quote.

Yes. An off-gassing booth provides a dedicated zone for spent biomass sacks containing residual hydrocarbons. Separating that activity from the extraction zone helps reduce process interruptions while keeping vapor handling within an engineered enclosure.

No. C1D1 and C1D2 address hazardous-location requirements for flammable gases and vapors. ISO cleanroom classification addresses airborne particle cleanliness. A project needing both must define and verify both sets of requirements.

An off-gassing booth is a dedicated enclosure for spent biomass socks or sacks that retain residual hydrocarbons after extraction. It is generally smaller than the main extraction room and is engineered around the vapor hazard, handling volume and facility layout.

Residual solvent released from spent biomass can raise vapor concentrations in the extraction room and trigger its safety response, including an Alarm 2 shutdown. A dedicated off-gassing zone separates that activity from equipment operation. Safety alarms and interlocks remain active; a separate booth does not guarantee uninterrupted production.

Off-gassing booths are sized for the operation. The published standard footprints describe extraction lab planning options; they are not a fixed off-gassing booth size list. Podtronix reviews sack volume, handling access and the required engineered ventilation package before confirming dimensions.

An uncontrolled area does not provide an engineered vapor-handling environment. Residual hydrocarbons can create a flammable atmosphere. Work with Podtronix and your facility safety team to define a dedicated zone and an approved handling procedure.

Class 1, Division 1 (C1D1) applies to areas where ignitable concentrations of flammable gases or vapors are expected to exist under normal operating conditions. Class 1, Division 2 (C1D2) applies to areas where these gases or vapors are handled, processed, or used, but are normally confined within closed containers or closed systems.

Yes. Our prefabricated labs and extraction PODs are engineered using UL-listed components and are designed to meet or exceed NFPA, IFC, and NEC standards for hazardous locations. We provide full documentation to assist with local AHJ approvals.

Yes, we can provide PE stamped structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings tailored to your specific state or province to ensure seamless permitting and compliance.

Lead times vary based on project complexity and current manufacturing capacity, but standard prefabricated labs typically ship within 6 to 10 weeks from final design approval.

Yes. Our Extraction PODs are built within heavy-duty containerized structures featuring high R-value insulation and extreme-temperature rated HVAC systems, allowing them to operate efficiently in harsh climates.

Podtronix offers comprehensive services. We manufacture the units in our facility and our specialized teams handle the final delivery, assembly, and commissioning on your site to ensure everything functions perfectly.

Absolutely. While we offer standard dimensions for rapid deployment, our engineering team routinely designs custom-fit modular solutions to integrate seamlessly into existing facility footprints.

For standard lab deployments within an existing building, our engineering plans are often sufficient for permitting. For full facility build-outs, we collaborate closely with your architect of record, providing the specialized hazardous-location design components.
